Now Using Blogging Software
After using my own hacked-together blogging scripts for a while which required me to do raw SQL inserts into a database, I have decided to go with the Serendipity blogging package instead. This will be the last time my old rss feed will be updated, so you will want to visit my updated site soon and subscribe to the new rss link.
Manually posting each entry was entirely too time consuming and was severely inhibiting my blogging frequency. You can now expect me to hear from me considerably more often. To date I have usually blogged once or twice a month; expect something at least once a week.
This update also resolves the issue of not having a commenting system. I have received quite a few complaints about not allowing comments. So if you are one of those people, please feel free to go to past entries and make any comments still on your mind.
I have decided to stop manually selecting photos for my photoblog; I wasn't updating it anyway as it was entirely too much work. You can still subscribe to new photos I post via my gallery (there is an rss link in the bottom right). You can also visit my home page where a nifty plugin will automatically select some images at random from my gallery and show them on the left.
You may notice a few of my older blog entries have rather braindead formatting. The import from my old software wasn't perfect, so I need to finish going through those and repairing the formatting issues. All of the old text is still there, it just isn't pretty yet.
